Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance on distribution center equipment and facility systems. You will support higher-level technicians, document activities, and help ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will gain hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, while following maintenance schedules and using CMMS for tracking.

Qualifications

• 4–6 months of maintenance, facilities, or related operational environments.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
• Experience with or ability to learn CMMS systems and document maintenance activities.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards including OSHA requirements.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of distribution center systems and production equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures.
• Adjust, clean, and replace minor components to maintain equipment performance.
• Document maintenance activities accurately within CMMS and logs.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Support repair and replacement of worn or damaged equipment under supervision.
