Job summary

Leevers Supermarkets, Inc. in Cheltenham Village, PA is seeking an Associate to support daily store operations, including cashiering, stocking, cleaning and customer service under the Store Manager.

You will work with a team, maintain shop standards, and help train other staff. The role requires reliability, flexibility, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 (15 with parent letter).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Spanish or other languages are a plus in some locations.
• Basic math skills and basic computer skills required.
• Dependable and flexible to work shifts with little notice.
• Must adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule adherence and timeliness.
• Operate a cash register and handle transactions including cash, EBT, debit, credit, WIC vouchers, gift cards and coupons.
• Stock and maintain grocery, frozen, dairy, perishable items.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stock on shelves; operate equipment as trained.
• Retrieve carts and maintain store conditions.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist in training other employees.
• Rotate stock and ensure price tags are visible.
• Display, trim and fill produce; assist Fresh Meat as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
