Leevers Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking an Associate to join our store team in Philadelphia. The role involves cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining store conditions while delivering excellent customer service.

The Associate reports to the Store Manager and supports assistant store managers as needed. This is a non-management, hands-on position requiring flexibility to work various shifts and locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 (15 with parent letter and school authorization letter).
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Language proficiency in Spanish or other languages are a plus in certain locations.
• Proficiency in basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and flexible to work scheduled shifts, including willingness to work in other areas of the store as needed with little or no advance notice.
• Must adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule adherence and timeliness.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and perform checkout procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Stock product on shelves and in refrigerated cases; maintain store appearance.
• Assist unloading deliveries and handle stock movement with appropriate equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist management in training other store employees and maintain proper product rotation and pricing.
