Job summary

Leevers Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking an Associate to support cashiering, stocking, cleaning and perishables monitoring at our Philadelphia store. You will deliver excellent customer service and help maintain a clean, safe, well-organized shopping environment daily.

The role involves teamwork, reliability, and flexibility to work shifts, with opportunities to assist in training teammates and to support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 (15 with parent letter and school authorization).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Language proficiency in Spanish or other languages are a plus in certain locations.
• Proficiency in basic math skills and basic computer skills.
• Dependable and flexible to work scheduled shifts and other areas as needed.
• Adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule adherence and timeliness.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and perform checkout procedures including handling cash, EBT, debit/credit, WIC vouchers, Gift Cards and coupons.
• Meet or exceed standards for stocking and maintaining grocery, dairy, perishables and other products.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking on shelves, racks and cases.
• Fetch carts and maintain clean, safe store environment.
• Provide excellent customer service in a friendly manner.
• Assist store management in training other associates.
• Ensure proper product rotation and pricing under company guidelines.
• Support Fresh Meat team as needed (wrapping, weighing, stocking).
• Perform additional duties and work in other areas as assigned.
