Leevers Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking an Associate to perform cashiering, stocking, cleaning and help maintain store conditions. The Associate provides excellent customer service and assists in maintaining daily store standards in line with company policies.

The role requires lifting, flexible shifts, and the ability to work across departments as needed. Training or experience in Spanish or other languages is a plus in certain locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 (15 with parent letter and school authorization letter).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Language proficiency in Spanish or other languages are a plus in certain locations.
• Proficiency in basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and flexible to work scheduled shifts, including a willingness to work in other areas of the store as needed with little or no advance notice.
• Must adhere to safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Maintain schedule adherence and timeliness.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and perform checkout procedures at or above expected performance standards including accuracy in handling cash, EBT, debit, credit, WIC Vouchers, Gift Cards and coupons.
• Stock grocery, frozen, dairy, meat and all perishables per company standards.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks and stocking on platforms, shelving, hooks and refrigerated cases.
• Retrieve carts from the parking lot.
• Maintain clean store conditions and a safe work environment; complete cleaning duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist store management in training other employees.
• Maintain proper rotation for dated and undated products and ensure price tags/signs are displayed per guidelines.
• Protect company property, funds and merchandise at all times.
• Assist with fresh produce display and packaging; help Fresh Meat as needed.
• Perform other duties, including working in other areas of the store, as assigned.
