Job summary

Vans is seeking a Supervisor to support the store's leadership team, drive exceptional customer experience, coach associates, and ensure operational excellence in engagement, merchandising, and store standards.

You will work with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to maximize store profitability, foster an inclusive culture, and contribute to the store's success in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous retail leadership preferred, with a High School diploma.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Capable of working independently, managing shifting priorities, and meeting business expectations.
• Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead store leadership by example and coach associates to improve performance.
• Drive personalized customer engagement and help achieve sales goals.
• Model selling behaviors and foster a consumer-centric mindset with customers.
• Supervise daily store operations including opening/closing, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations and ensure timely product flow to the sales floor.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members; provide ongoing feedback.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Support inventory integrity and loss prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement through local initiatives and events.
• Uphold company safety policies and store procedures.
