Job summary

POP MART is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at Potomac Mills Mall to lead daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop a high-performing team, and ensure the POP MART brand is reflected in every interaction.

Responsibilities include coaching Brand Associates, managing inventory and visual merchandising, handling scheduling and safety, and supporting events, launches, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and metrics.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, or pop culture is valued.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team.
• Lead, motivate, and develop Brand Associates and Sales Leads through coaching and feedback.
• Foster an inclusive, customer-first culture reflecting POP MART values.
• Serve as Manager on Duty, making operational and customer service decisions.
• Support onboarding, training and performance development of new team members.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience on the sales floor and promote brand excitement.
• Analyze sales and KPIs, implement actions to improve performance and launches.
• Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, safety, compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and execute visual merchandising standards.
• Support events, product launches, pop-ups, and community engagement.
