Job summary

Meijer Store Support Internship Program offers college students a hands-on retail education experience. Interns lead a project impacting the customer or Team Member experience and develop research, leadership and presentation skills.

Participants gain exposure to Store Operations, Store Support Training and Store Fulfillment, with opportunities for networking and professional development along the way.

Qualifications

• The program is designed for students currently enrolled in an academic degree program.
• Drive for results with focus on financial impact of projects.
• Past leadership in work or extracurricular activities is preferred.
• Passion for Retail or Customer Service and desire to enter a retail career.
• Customer focus—meeting internal and external customer expectations.
• Digital mindset—experience with digital devices, applications, and analytics.
• Relationship skills to build positive working relationships with team members and leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
