Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator for the Lebanon, PA store to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.

You will assist customers, manage checkout experiences, and support store operations to ensure a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Responsibilities include coordinating events, guiding participants, handling add-ons, and communicating with clients and team members while maintaining cleanliness and safety

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events, including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages, creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects; perform face painting and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Answer emails, make phone calls, and complete paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs; create backup plans as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events; uphold store cleanliness and safety standards.
