Michaels in Lebanon, PA is hiring for an Events & Customer Experience role within our store. You will plan and coordinate children's birthday parties and other events, engage guests of all ages, and deliver fast, friendly checkout while assisting customers with product needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on event setup, face painting, goody bags, and thoughtful client service, with responsibilities across store operations and adherence to safety standards.

Formación

• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Must have experience working with children and children's events.
• Must have good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening skills.
• Must have organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
• Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
• Adjust plans and events based on client's feedback and needs.
• Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
• Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
• Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards. Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
