Job summary

Michaels in Kingsport, TN is seeking a store associate focused on cleaning and customer service. You’ll help maintain a clean, inviting environment and assist shoppers with finding items while upholding our Brand Promises.

The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and teamwork. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow while supporting daily store operations and store-wide programs. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or cleaning environments preferred.
• Able to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Customer service oriented and able to assist shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience and assist customers.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Support truck unloading, stocking and planogram processes.
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance.
• Maintain a positive and respectful environment.
