Job summary

Michaels Huntington, WV store is looking for a cleaning and general maintenance associate. You will help keep the store clean and well-presented, assist customers, and support safety and store standards to deliver a positive shopping experience.

The role involves dusting, mopping, trash disposal, stocking, and following store SOPs. Flexible hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings; prior retail or cleaning experience is preferred, and applicants must meet U.S.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred.
• Cleaning experience is preferred.
• Applicants must meet U.S. federal, state, and local legal requirements for the job.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall store look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery to deliver Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop the store and find what they’re looking for.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures; dust and damp mop floors; move equipment and products for cleaning; deep clean key areas as needed.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments; assist with omnichannel processes.
