Job summary

Michaels in CHI-KILDEER, IL is seeking a Store Associate to help maintain the store’s appearance and deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage checkout, and support daily cleaning and stocking tasks.

Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, trash disposal, and ensuring products are properly displayed. You will also participate in Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store processes, with hours that include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store including cleanliness and recovery to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service, help customers shop the store and find what they're looking for.
• Handle trash disposal, dusting, mopping, and moving equipment as needed to keep the store clean.
