Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate for the Asheville, NC location to maintain cleanliness and assist customers in finding items. You will perform cleaning tasks, stock shelves, and support store operations to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming shopping environment.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, adherence to SOPs, and participation in Omni channel activities such as BOPIS and SFS. Nights, weekends, and early shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find items.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and place items back in correct locations.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms and entryways to keep the store safe and inviting.
• Adhere to SOPs and approved procedures; notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
• Support Omni channel processes, e.g., Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Maintain a positive, respectful environment with team members and customers.
