Job summary

Michaels Stores in Springfield, IL is seeking a dedicated team member to maintain store cleanliness and support daily store operations. You’ll clean floors, restrooms, breakrooms, stock shelves, assist customers, and participate in BOPIS/SFS processes.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and occasional night/weekend shifts. Must be at least 16 years old. Wage ranges from $16.00 to $18.50 per hour, with eligibility for overtime where required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards including dusting, mopping and trash disposal.
• Assist customers, help them find products and participate in Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store).
• Stock, check out customers, and ensure planogram compliance and safety standards.
• Follow SOPs, company policies, and participate in safety programs.
