Job summary

Michaels Store - Burlington, WA is seeking a team member to maintain cleanliness and assist customers in a fast-paced retail environment. You will clean, stock, assist with checkouts, and engage customers about rewards programs.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, ensuring a safe store, and supporting omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store. Must be at least sixteen and have retail/cleaning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store and find what they're looking for.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and proper placement.
• Perform cleaning with assigned materials and prepare solutions as needed.
• Deep clean key store areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards and enroll them as needed.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS) and stocking responsibilities.
