Job summary

Michaels Dover store is seeking a dedicated team member to help maintain a clean, welcoming shopping environment and assist customers in locating products. You will perform cleaning duties, stock movement, and help with omnichannel processes to support customer pickup and store operations.

Ideal candidates bring retail or cleaning experience, enjoy fast-paced retail work, and can interact positively with customers and teammates. Benefit programs and discount eligibility are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Retail and cleaning experience preferred.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Deep cleans key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and other high traffic areas.
• Keeps cleaning equipment neat and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards and engage with Rewards program enrollments.
