Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Store Manager experience for 3 years or 5+ years in retail/manager role as Assistant Manager.
• Retail grocery experience required.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; math and analytical abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Computer literacy.
• Able to make quality decisions under time constraints.
• Able to get along with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operation and performance, including cash, inventory, security, customer service and staff management.
• Forecast and improve weekly/daily sales goals and manage labor costs.
• Communicate goals and performance with staff to drive results.
• Schedule labor to meet sales and productivity guidelines and budgets.
• Direct product placement and store appearance; ensure in-stock conditions.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, sanitation and store maintenance.
• Oversee cash handling and accounting; ensure store security.
• Hire, train, and manage performance; participate in disciplinary actions.
