Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Store Director in a full-time role. You will lead the store team, drive performance, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while overseeing all store operations and food service knowledge.

The role centers on leading people, managing finances, and upholding safety and quality standards. During a 6-week training period you will earn hourly pay, then transition to a salaried Store Director position.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle financial management, including P&L, budgets, and business plans.
• Experience or willingness to learn in areas such as recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Champion GET: Model Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
• Training and Development: Deliver Company training programs to develop leaders and the store team.
• P&L Management: Collaborate on P&L management, business plans, and budgets.
• Company Initiatives: Implement initiatives and foster coaching, engagement, and teamwork.
• Operational Excellence: Lead in implementing best practices and improving productivity.
• Food Program Ownership: Oversee kitchen processes, food prep, and sanitation.
• Cross-Functional Coverage: Act as backup across all store departments during peak times.
