Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Store Director in the United States to lead store operations, develop team members, and drive performance. You will manage the food service program, uphold safety standards, and ensure an exceptional customer experience every day.

You’ll oversee P&L, budgets, training initiatives, and cross-functional coverage while coaching staff to meet company standards. Upon successful completion of training, you’ll advance to a salaried Store Director role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle financial management, including P&L, budgets, and business plans.
• Experience or willingness to learn in areas such as recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Champion GET: Champion Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations by modeling the behaviors, coaching Team Members on consistent execution, and holding the team accountable for a welcoming and engaging customer experience.
• Training and Development: Facilitate the ongoing development of leaders and the store team by ensuring the delivery of all Company training programs.
• P&L Management: Collaborate with the District Manager and Sr Director of Regional Operations on P&L management, business plans, and budgets.
• Company Initiatives: Implement Company initiatives, enhance the customer experience, and foster a culture of coaching, engagement, and teamwork.
• Operational Excellence: Lead the store team in implementing best practices, measuring operational efficiencies, improving productivity, and achieving operational standards.
• Food Program Ownership: Maintain total operational knowledge of kitchen processes (including opening/closing workflows, food prep, and sanitation) to support, audit, and coach the Food Service Manager.
• Cross-Functional Coverage: Serve as the ultimate operational backup across all store departments, including the kitchen, during peak volume or staffing shortages.
