Maverik Inc. in Clive, IA is seeking a Store Director to lead the team, drive store performance, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll oversee all store operations and maintain expert knowledge of our fresh food program.

This full-time role offers a salary range of $52,000–$62,000 per year, with a bonus program. Training pays hourly ($25–$30/hr) during the six-week program, then transitions to a salaried position after training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle financial management, including P&L, budgets, and business plans.
• Experience or willingness to learn in areas such as recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Champion GET: Model the GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service expectations.
• Training and Development: Ensure delivery of all Company training programs.
• P&L Management: Collaborate on P&L management, business plans, and budgets.
• Company Initiatives: Implement Company initiatives and foster coaching culture.
• Operational Excellence: Lead the team in improving productivity and standards.
• Food Program Ownership: Maintain knowledge of kitchen processes to support the Food Service Manager.
• Cross-Functional Coverage: Serve as operational backup across all store departments.
