Publix Technology is seeking a Deployment Engineer to join the Deployment Center, building and configuring hardware for new stores and corporate projects. You will support retail and corporate incidents and requests, working with engineering and development teams to ensure reliable, secure systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, planning, and communication skills, plus hands-on experience with staging technology including terminals, workstations, scales, servers, routers,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in information technology or equivalent technical experience.
• 1+ years of experience supporting Publix POS and Publix Corporate Support hardware and software.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft, Android, iOS, HP, NCR, Honeywell, Apple, VMM, SCCM, Active Directory.
• Ability to troubleshoot network and software issues related to build systems for retail/corporate environments.
• Ability to make sound business decisions to resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver all corporate and retail hardware and software builds for new production stores, staging stores, development stores, and corporate support sites.
• Perform software builds of store systems, workstations, POS terminals, mobile devices, scales, networking components, and related peripherals.
• Implement software packages and configuration changes to keep systems up to date with production code level and security packages.
• Manage/monitor system status to ensure proper operations and uptime.
• Stage and configure hardware for incidents, requests, and projects.
• Ensure new store builds are completed on time to support openings.
