Job summary

Cavender's Department Manager is a member of the Store Management Team responsible for supporting the company culture, guiding sales and supervising associates. The role includes coaching, training, and executing company standards to meet department and store goals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

The Department Manager leads by example in customer service, product knowledge, and loss prevention, while ensuring proper staffing, scheduling, and adherence to policies

Qualifications

• Experience managing a retail department and shifts.
• Proven ability to drive sales and improve KPIs.
• Ability to read English and follow store policies.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender’s Culture and drive Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Lead training and coaching of store associates on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Open and close duties; supervise staff to meet sales goals and maintain store standards.
• Address customer issues and ensure Best of the WEST service across the department.
• Monitor timecards and department performance to control payroll and errors.
