Job summary

H-E-B in Texas seeks a Store Department Lead to manage a well-stocked, well-maintained department and provide superior customer service. You will supervise scheduling, training, and development of Partners while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will also support inventory, merchandising, and daily operations across bakery, deli, produce, and other sections as needed, coordinating with Store leadership to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 6+ months of related experience and/or training.
• Completion of safety and sanitation training and eCommerce Online Ordering training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a department; schedule work and train Partners.
• Provide superior customer service and handle customer questions and orders.
• Assist with inventory control, loading/unloading, and product movement.
• Train, direct, and develop Partners; resolve issues and implement production plans.
• Oversee bakery, deli, produce and other department operations as applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor and prep areas.
