Job summary

H-E-B in Austin seeks a Store Department Lead to oversee a busy, well-stocked department and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise scheduling, training, and development of Partners while supporting the Department Manager as needed.

You will drive inventory accuracy, coach staff on product knowledge, merchandising, and safety procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations across bakery, deli, produce, and other zones as assigned.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or 6+ months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and production planners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supervising and training Partners.
