Job summary

H-E-B is seeking an Assistant Store Director to support Store Leaders with primary daytime and mid-shift coverage and to manage closing coverage. You will oversee auxiliary departments such as the Cash Office, Service Co., Facilities, and Customer Champions.

The role requires a proven management track record, strong leadership, and ability to drive store performance while ensuring compliance with safety and food-safety standards. Flexible hours may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams and modeling store operations with VP/HR approval.
• Strong customer service and leadership abilities; able to guide Partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide daytime/mid-shift coverage and manage closing coverage.
• Oversee Cash Office, Service Co., Facilities, and Customer Champions.
• Lead and mentor Partners; drive sanitation, safety, and store conditions.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and store standards.
• Use financial analysis to evaluate costs/benefits of ideas and programs.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate with Department Managers.
