H-E-B is seeking a Store Department Lead to manage a busy department, ensure product availability and quality, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will schedule shifts, supervise Partners, and participate in training and development to maintain high standards.

You will back up the Department Manager, coordinate with bakery, deli, produce, and other areas, and help drive sales through effective merchandising and strong team leadership.

Formación

• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college, or 6+ months related experience.
• Completion of Company Orientation, food safety and sanitation training, and eCommerce Online Ordering training.
• Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence; communicate with Partners and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead department operations and scheduling, acting as backup to Department Manager.
• Provide superior customer service and coach Partners on product knowledge.
• Train Partners, supervise workload, and address complaints to resolve issues.
• Assist with inventory control, such as loading/unloading and moving products; follow safety procedures.
