Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly, efficient shopping experience in Birmingham, Alabama. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and help with stock replenishment and unloading merchandise.

You will maintain a clean, safe store environment, handle security of cash and company assets, and interact professionally with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
