Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a part-time Store Associate in Alabama to support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service.

You will assist with merchandise replenishment, checkout, and maintaining clean, organized sales floors and stockrooms. The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, with responsibilities including shelving, restocking, and assisting in opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional areas.
• Assist in ordering, damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits.
• Train and develop Store Associates; supervise as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
