We are more than just a parts store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. No need to be an expert in tearing down or rebuilding engines, but a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role offers a great opportunity whether you're considering a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, seeking full or part-time work, or just exploring your options with us.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions.
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
• Welcoming retail customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Using technology (computer, cash register, telephone, catalog system).

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school education is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers.

Additional Preferences (Not a Deal Breaker)

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership work.
• Experience in auto body, collision repair, or retail stores.
• Knowledge of inventory management or cataloging systems.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• ASE Certifications.
