We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines—though that’s a bonus—but a background and knowledge of automotive parts are essential. This role is a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or just get your foot in the door to explore other careers with us.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members in answering customer questions.
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions.
• Bringing customer focus and energy to our fast-paced stores.
• Welcoming retail customers and engaging with them to ensure a positive experience.
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs.

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast-paced retail environments.
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Additional Qualifications (Not Required but a Plus)

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail, or auto body/collision.
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• ASE Certifications.
