Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales (Part Time) role at NAPA Auto Parts.

We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person when customers enter for their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is important. This role is a great opportunity whether you aim to build a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, want flexible hours, or are exploring other career paths within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members with customer questions
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
• Engaging retail customers to ensure a positive experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Enjoy fast-paced retail environments
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in cataloging or inventory management systems

• ASE Certifications
