We are more than just a Parts Store, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (but if you can, that’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is helpful. This role offers a great opportunity whether you're seeking a long-term career as a Parts Specialist, looking for full/part-time work, or just exploring options.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience
• Using technology, including computers, cash registers, phones, and catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong listening skills and empathy

Additional Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required)

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership
• Experience with cataloging and inventory systems
• Customer-centric mindset
• ASE Certifications
