Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate in the United States. The role involves maintaining store cleanliness, assisting customers, and supporting various store operations. You will engage shoppers in rewards programs, help with checkout, and participate in stock and planogram duties to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

Applicants should have retail and/or cleaning experience. The role requires standing for long periods and ability to lift and move items as part of daily store tasks.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards
