Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate in Reston, VA to uphold a clean and organized sales floor and provide friendly customer service. You will assist shoppers, run checkout, and participate in stocking and store operations to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include engaging customers about rewards programs, supporting Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store, and helping with safety and shrink programs while following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and maintain store surfaces and aisles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of overall look and feel of the store including cleanliness and recovery per Brand Promises.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS & Ship from Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
