Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities and help lead the team to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities include organizing merchandise, opening and closing procedures, processing directives, maintaining displays, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and ensuring a safe, clean, and friendly store environment. The role requires strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas and ensure POS accuracy and cash handling.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing store associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
