Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in East Rutherford, NJ to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to floor while maintaining seasonal areas.

In this role you will participate in opening/closing procedures, uphold company policies, train Store Associates, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
