Chico's Grand Rapids is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager to deliver a welcoming, customer-focused shopping experience and lead a team with confidence.

You’ll drive sales, manage operations, and coach associates while upholding brand standards and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the store's financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
