FashionUnited is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to work with the Store Manager on all store operations. You will guide and motivate a team of brand advocates to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with our brand values.

You will partner with the Store Manager to maximize profitability through engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connections while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Understanding of how to develop staff with experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, etc.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to maximize profitability by ensuring customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection align with standards.
• Create amazing customer experiences through strong client focus and collaboration, motivating the team to deliver memorable experiences.
• Partner with Store Manager to implement visual merchandising directives to maintain brand strategies.
• Ensure appropriate replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Collaborate to ensure compliance with loss prevention and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in training, operations, inventory management, store administration, cleaning, and customer service.
• Foster an environment of development and accountability.
• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Assist Store Manager in selecting and hiring qualified candidates.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.
