Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager on all store operations and guide a team of brand advocates to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with brand values.

The role focuses on driving profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, and compliant operations, while supporting training, inventory management, and loss prevention. A flexible schedule is required for weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to maximize profitability by ensuring customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection are consistent with company standards.
• Create amazing customer experiences through strong client focus and collaboration, ensuring the team is motivated to deliver memorable experiences.
• Partner with the Store Manager to implement visual merchandising directives to maintain brand strategies.
• Ensure appropriate replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Partner with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with loss prevention and safety policies and procedures, standards, and practices.
• Assist in various store operations including training, operations, sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, store administration, cleaning duties when necessary, and customer service.
• Foster an environment of development and accountability.
• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Assist Store Manager in the selection and hiring of qualified candidates.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.
