Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Store Area Supervisor in Medford, MA, to oversee daily operations and merchandising for assigned areas. You will work under a Team Leader, ensuring smooth freight flow while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

This role develops leadership skills with opportunities for growth toward higher-level store leadership roles, including training teammates and managing schedules and store presentation. Must be 18+ and available for nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years professional experience in retail or similar customer-focused environment.
• Prior customer service, training, and merchandise ordering/receiving/stocking experience preferred.
• Computer skills with Google platform (Email, Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in assigned area.
• Bridge customer service with corporate support for issue resolution.
• Promote company initiatives and manage work schedules for the area.
• Guide and support team to ensure task completion and a collaborative environment.
• Assist in training store associates and support growth toward leadership roles.
• Manage merchandising presentation and signage following company guidelines.
• Ensure pricing accuracy, report discrepancies, and perform daily checks.
