Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Store Area Supervisor in Dover, DE to oversee daily operations and merchandising for designated areas. You will ensure smooth freight flow and prioritize exceptional customer experiences under a Team Leader's guidance.

This role is a development path toward leadership positions with opportunities for growth and involvement in company initiatives, training, and team mentorship. Eligible for a competitive benefits package and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• 1+ years professional experience in other retail environments.
• Prior customer service training and merchandising experience preferred.
• Computer skills with Google suite and Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Champion exceptional customer service for diverse clientele and foster a welcoming environment.
• Bridge the gap between customers and corporate customer service for effective resolutions.
• Promote company initiatives, manage schedules, and guide the team to complete tasks.
• Support training and growth across all store levels and ensure merchandise presentation.
• Maintain signage, pricing accuracy, backroom stock, and store flow.
• Open/close procedures as needed and operate a cash register.
