Ocean State Job Lot seeks a Store Area Supervisor in Montgomeryville, PA to oversee daily operations and merchandising for assigned areas. You will ensure smooth freight flow while prioritizing excellent customer experiences under a Team Leader.

This role serves as a development path toward leadership within OSJL. You will lead a team, manage schedules, and support training, with a focus on customer service, pricing accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years professional retail experience.
• Prior customer service, training, and merchandise ordering/receiving experience preferred.
• Computer skills with Google apps and Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Champion exceptional customer service and foster an inclusive environment.
• Bridge the gap between customers and corporate customer service for effective resolutions.
• Promote company-wide customer initiatives (donations, loyalty programs, promotions).
• Create effective work schedules for the assigned area.
• Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure task completion.
• Support training for store associates across areas for growth.
• Manage merchandise presentation and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Verify pricing accuracy of incoming shipments and manage backroom stock.
• Handle packaways, returns, transfers, and recalls per policy.
• Uphold store safety and maintenance standards.
• May supervise store operations including opening/closing.
