Glacier West is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in the Washington, DC area to support daily operations at a self-storage facility. You will handle customer service, sales, inspections, and payment processing with some travel within the district.

The role requires strong communication, basic maintenance ability, and independent work. Responsibilities include site checks, assisting customers, processing payments, and coordinating with contractors.

Competenze

• Self-Storage/management/customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Light cleaning and maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers, smartphones, and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently without onsite supervision.
• Self-Storage experience is a significant plus.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Mansioni

• Handle day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Provide excellent customer service experience.
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Conduct daily site checks and property inspections.
• Assist customers seeking storage units.
• Collect and process payments.
• Contact delinquent occupants.
• Produce daily and weekly reports, marketing, surveys, and inventory.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (hasp changes, light bulb changes, cleaning, lock cuts) and safely use power tools.
• Act as the primary contact for contractors and vendors on site.
• Travel within the district to support other locations.
