Job summary

Axians is seeking a Storage Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. You will manage and secure enterprise storage platforms, primarily Ceph and GPFS/IBM Storage Scale, ensuring high availability and performance across critical systems.

You will monitor capacity, support backup and disaster recovery, and drive automation and improvements to storage technology across European institutions projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise storage environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ceph and GPFS in production environments.
• Solid understanding of storage operations, monitoring and capacity management.
• Experience with backup/recovery, data protection and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise storage platforms, ensuring stability, security and high availability.
• Monitor usage, perform capacity planning, and scale environments to meet business needs.
• Support backup and recovery processes and data protection strategies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize storage performance, improving reliability and efficiency.
• Drive evolution of storage landscape through automation and new technologies.
