CoreWeave is seeking an Engineering Manager, Storage in Sunnyvale, CA to lead high-performing storage teams. You will drive high-throughput distributed file, block, and object storage, and scale performance for massive AI workloads, balancing technical guidance with strategic execution.

This role requires 3+ years managing teams and 7+ years in systems engineering, with Go and Rust proficiency and experience with Ceph, Lustre, and MinIO.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing engineering teams and 7+ years in hands-on systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise in storage performance tuning, latency optimization, and benchmarking.
• Proficient in cloud storage technologies and distributed systems (Ceph, Lustre, MinIO, GPUDirect Storage).

Responsibilities

• Scale foundational file, block, and object storage systems for AI infrastructure.
• Drive end-to-end design and operations across storage services to maximize GPU utilization.
• Achieve 10x performance scaling for storage systems.
• Lead storage teams in a coding-focused, high-autonomy environment.
• Provide technical mentorship and oversee performance management.
• Align engineering execution with business goals through cross-team leadership.
