Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Storage Engineer to design, build, and operate the control plane for its high-performance storage platform. You will help evolve storage systems by delivering reliable, scalable, and high-throughput solutions powering massive AI workloads.

Collaborate with infrastructure, compute, and platform teams to scale storage, and mentor engineers while improving observability with telemetry pipelines like Prometheus and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
• Proven hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable multi-tenant control plane for AI storage infrastructure.
• Contribute to exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and distributed filesystems.
• Work with RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK to optimize storage performance.
• Improve reliability, durability, and observability of storage stack.
• Collaborate with ops to monitor and optimize storage using telemetry and dashboards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver storage capabilities across the stack.
• Mentor engineers on distributed, high-performance systems.
