Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Technical Consultant to implement and optimize enterprise storage across Datacenter and Cloud environments. This is a customer-facing, delivery-focused role responsible for deployment of scalable storage solutions and guiding clients and internal teams through complex projects.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with block and file storage, SAN infrastructure, and cloud integrations, with emphasis on documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise storage infrastructure delivery experience.
• Experience with major storage platforms (PowerMax/VMAX, PowerScale/Isilon, Unity, PowerStore, Pure Storage, NetApp).
• Experience with SAN implementation and interoperability analysis.
• Experience with cloud storage integration (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of automation/orchestration tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Strong communication and documentation skills for stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement storage solutions for performance, availability, recoverability, scalability, and simplicity across on-premises and cloud.
• Deploy data center and cloud storage technologies (PowerMax, PowerScale, PowerStore, NetApp ONTAP, StorageGRID, Pure Storage, Nasuni, Cloudian).
• Design and deploy SAN infrastructure; perform interoperability analysis.
• Support replication and storage continuity technologies (SRDF, SyncIQ, Pure, SnapMirror, Zerto).
• Develop technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Act as technical point of contact during delivery engagements and escalations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, account teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Provide post-implementation knowledge transfer and root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to delivery quality and customer satisfaction; mentor junior staff.
• Stay aware of storage/cloud trends and propose improvements.
