Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Technical Consultant to implement and optimize enterprise storage across Datacenter and Cloud environments. You will deploy scalable storage solutions, manage customer-facing delivery, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams. Travel across the US is required.

The role emphasizes hands-on storage across block and file, SAN infrastructure, troubleshooting, and documentation, with collaboration across delivery workstreams and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise storage delivery experience (consulting or professional services).
• Experience with major storage platforms (Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure).
• Experience with SAN implementation and interoperability analysis.
• Cloud integration across AWS/Azure/GAE is a plus.
• Scripting and automation in common languages (Python/Bash/PowerShell/JS).
• Strong communication and documentation skills for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver storage solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Design and deploy SAN infrastructure and interoperability analysis.
• Support replication and continuity technologies (SRDF, SyncIQ, Zerto).
• Create technical designs, implementation plans, and runbooks.
• Act as technical lead during delivery engagements and cutovers.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure delivery quality.
