Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to lead enterprise Data Protection implementations, modernization, and optimization across data centers and cloud. You will translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, work with cross-functional delivery teams, and travel to client sites as needed.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik, and related platforms, plus strong documentation and leadership skills to guide projects from design to deployment

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise Data Protection infrastructure.
• Experience with Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik in production environments.
• Experience with SAN implementation and interoperability analysis.
• Experience integrating Data Protection with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data protection connectivity across multi-site environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in client-facing delivery roles.
• Understanding of AI, VMware, Linux, Unix, and Windows OS.
• Strong presentation, diagramming, and storytelling skills.
• Expert in racking, stacking, and cabling hardware.

Responsibilities

• Advanced configuration and architectural design of backup platforms to optimize data protection.
• Lead deployment across data centers and cloud environments.
• Develop technical documentation including solution designs and procedures.
• Act as a technical point of contact during delivery engagements and escalations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, account teams, and customer stakeholders to align scope and outcomes.
• Travel to customer sites up to 50% for deployment, migration, and modernization.
• Provide post-implementation knowledge transfer and root cause analysis.
• Coach and support junior team members to ensure delivery quality.
• Maintain awareness of emerging Data Protection trends and propose practical improvements.
